Nicole Sturomski
Founder and Director
Nicole is the Founder of WMN Unite and a Howard University graduate with over 25 years of professional experience in civil engineering, martial arts, and 10 years of health and wellness leadership. Nicole has worked closely with hundreds of clients and students in need of improving their health and overall wellness. She advocates for women in need, health for the community, and sustainability for the planet.
Kleidy Villela
Board Member
Kleidy is an Entrepreneur, Yoga Instructor and Reiki Master. She created a bridge between her, and sharing tolls with the Hispanic community. Her honesty, respect, hard work and loyalty was something her grandparents modeled and became an important part of who she is. Her daughter was born with special needs and has taught her how to be present, how to connect her family and business, and be a role model.

Margo Gladys
Board Member
Margo is a wellness teacher, coach, and expert in stress mastery and energy optimization. As certified wellness instructor and health coach, Margo integrates a wide range of mind-body techniques to help clients transform their health and vitality. Margo has over 20 years of experience in the corporate world, 15 of them in healthcare and research administration in New York City.
Laura Wachtel
Board Member
Laura is a retired owner of a pediatric therapeutic center and an experienced Speech and Language Pathologist, with a degree from Columbia University. Throughout her career, she worked with children to overcome communication challenges while helping families navigate Early Intervention. Laura brings a wealth of experience and heart to the Women Unite Board, supporting the Farmers Market with a deep commitment to sustainability and community wellness.
Gina Fuschetto
Board Member
Gina is a jack(ie) of all creative trades, with a spiritual twist, joining the team with over a decade in branding & content marketing. She brings to the table, her unique experience as a professional psychic, guiding people into deeper connection with their higher self, through energetic services & workshops. She’s channeling her experience as an intuitive creator to help global brands, business owners & entrepreneurs share their mission & magic with the world, across print, digital & experience platforms, and passionate about serving the community.
Margo Hirsch
Board Member
Margo is an attorney with admissions to the Bars in New York and New Jersey where she represents children and youth in family court. Prior to her work in the courts, she served as Executive Director of the Coalition for Homeless Youth, a consortium of organizations and individuals working on behalf of runaway, homeless and street involved youth and their families. Margo began her career as a youth worker over 40 years ago as a counselor in a shelter for abused and/or neglected teenage girls, many of whom had histories of sexual abuse. She has continued as an advocate for young people throughout her career.
Nicole Sidman
Program Facilitator
Nicole is a devoted yoga teacher, tea lover, and the Founder of Anahata Yoga Studio. With a wealth of teaching experience, she shares her knowledge with warmth and joy, guiding women through yoga in ways that honor both the body and the heart. She believes that yoga is accessible to everyone and approaches each class with lightness and love. Her teachings inspire balance and connection, nourishing the spirit and awakening the inner beauty we all carry within."
Salima Mathews
Member
Working in over 30 years of marketing and advertising she serves as Executive Director and leads teams of crews and staff. Salima is passionate about helping her community, and focuses on advovating for women of all ages and races. She is a bridge that allows for great quality and success. Salima has supported WMN Unite nonprofit organization since it was founded in 2021.
